Enormous birds of pr...Global warming- not so cool.<br /><br />Enormous birds of prey- freaking awesome.<br /><br />Well, now I'm not sure if I really want to fight human pollution if it means the return of giant, kick ass prehistoric monsters...<br /><br />Ahh just kidding. It's plausible that change in temerapture alone might cause reversion back to a more prehistoric landscape, however with things going the way they are with exponential depletion of resources, I doubt life forms would be able to evovle to larger versions. If anything, only the smaller animals will stick around. This is already seen in urbanized areas- the smaller critters are able to survive off of limited resources, while the larger critters get pushed out.<br /><br />Even after millions of years, who knows how much the earth's resources will have recovered, and that's only with complete end of human consumption. I can't imagine how long it would take the earth to recover to anywhere near what it once was if humans stick around for much longer.ksnoreply@blogger.com
