What the Democrats are and what their priorities are becomes ever so clear, doesn't it? Political power for them is always the main goal and they will run from the accountability we progressives seek if it in any way detracts from their political ambitions. I think you already knew that, but it gets old seeing progressives perpetually perplexed about Democratic Party behavior. They just can't quite understand it.
