Some months ago India was crying in alarm at the sale of dozens of F-16 fighter to Pakistan.
Now, we hear a deal that throws all international nuclear agreements to the winds with India. And oh, by the way, we're selling them lots of newer jets- F-18s and other unspecified advanced technology- too. It is whispered quietly China is the fear. So we "let" them build as many fissile nukes as they want at 22 uninspected sites. And damn that UN and the IAEA anyway, 'cause they wouldn't play with the Company over Iraq and won't over Iran either.
We're playing poker at a chess game again. When they speak of fear, the motivation is greed. Ask Lockheed-Martin or any of the other Carlyle Group members who'll directly profit from this deal and the tension between India and Pakistan.
But whisper.
Nothing brings in the blank check like endless war.
Just another Reality-based bubble in the foam of the multiverse.

Yeah .... Life goes on.
You are strong. People will follow you. You are weak. People will mock at you.
Now India is strong. America wants to do a tie up. There is no meaning to fighting it.
Yes, India was worried. Because of Pakistan's support on terrorism in the name of Kashmir. Tell me one place which has won freedom from a different country. So, the fight for independent Kashmir is meaningless. So, Pakistan should leave that matter now.
America realizes that. Hence it is now favouring better relations with India.
Perhaps you're right, but it seems that what Bushie's owners want is to make an obscene amount of money off of both Pakistan and India.
If they burn each other to radioactive cinders, I don't think Dear Leader will be at all troubled by it.
As for what America thinks- that's a scam. America can't think anything any more than India or Pakistan can. If you think a nation can have a single solid opinion on anything you're drinking somebody's jingoist kool-aid.
