There are all kinds of culture wars in America today. I would suggest that, as he was during most of the Bu$h administration, Mr. Brooks is engaging in wishful thinking.
Unfortunately, Guns, Gays and Abortions really aren’t the biggest social issue in America today, again regardless of what Mr. Brooks believes. However, they do provide nice distractions for the main$tream to waste time prattling about. They also serve to invoke the wrath of the shortsighted.
The biggest issues are the looting of America by the banksters, the Endless War for Empire, and the dominance of their financial-military industrial complex. Most of America exists in a state of debt peonage, and our corporate owners won’t be happy until we all live in a state of post-industrial feudalism. However, it does not profit Pravda to raise this issue.
