Granny notes a few interesting items I feel worth reiterating.
Essentially we are already in a state of war with Iran.
The Islamic world already sees this.
Last winter the BBC echoed reports that the Special Forces are working within Iran.
So in essence, we're supporting a pro-Iranian Shiite majority government in Iraq, while planning war on Iran.
While a lot of progressives will condemn Bu$hCo for its manifest stupidity, let me suggest this bit of idiocy may be intentional.
The other piece of information from her site I'd like to share is this bit about a military drill off the coast of South Carolina in August. The focus of this drill is about the deployment of a nuclear weapon. Let's keep in mind that there's a recurring pattern of terrorist attacks while drills are taking place.
Let's keep our eyes open, be prepared, and not get fooled again.

I say we take out Fort Sumter before they take us out.
That didn't work 150 years ago, and I don't think it will work now.
My position is that we start to pull out of Iraq today, that we set up reparations for Iraqi reconstruction through the United Nations and administered by other Islamic nations.
Iran was moving towards a secular democracy before Bu$hCo started raising hell. It will again if we can keep our hands off the situation.
That means sending the people that lied to get us in this war in the first place to prison, and letting the war crimes commission at the UN crank up the Hague courts to try criminals on all sides.
Let me mention yet again: the development of cheap, solar based methane and hydrogen fuel production through the joint application of molecular biotechnology and chemical engineering will go a long way to reducing the dependency of the world on fossil fuels. For that matter, we could also halt global warming by fixing carbon at a rate compensating our release of it.
It will also enable the third world to industrialize without depending on the main financiers of world terrorism.
Finally, the whole Reganesque industrial and financial deregulation thing has royally screwed this country, and for that matter much of the world.
The oil monopolies and the Carlyle Group have to be disbanded.
Of course, none of that is going to happen until the shit hits the fan big time. I view my function here as a voice to help my readers dodge the crap when it starts to fly. Although most of them seem pretty capable of figuring it out on their own!
