It was predictable that a hollow politician like Obama would choose an equally hollow politician like Biden as his running-mate. No surprise there. Also no surprise that Biden shoots his mouth off about things he has no intention of carrying-through on. That seems to be a hallmark of the current Democratic party: Say one thing. Do something entirely different. Once again we progressives are stuck with "Team Loser" in the fight against the Republicans. When is it going to be time for progressives to abandon the Democratic Party? I say its already time. Let's spew this luke-warm, two-timing bunch and back a party that represents us for a change, instead of one that tries to play both sides of the fence and has only one goal: more power for itself.
I have no intention of abandoning the Democratic Party as long as the Republicans represent the party of Armageddon.
That's doesn't mean I won't give the Democrats the grief they deserve. But it does mean I'll back them in any contest against the Dominion. And that's our choice in November: allow McCain-Palin to have their way, or vote against them for a lesser evil.
