I saw this item in The New York Pravda about that little local reorganization we're having here:
It was a reminder that Cerberus, a minion of Citigroup, bought a controling interest in Chrysler about 3 years ago. Now that turned out just peachy, just like all the other dogs from Hell, didn't it?
But what I want to know is how people in the wilds of cyberspace could see this car wreck coming three years ago, but the Big Guys couldn't?
Occam's razor cuts that one easily. The really Big Guys did see it coming, and planned on it. The dogs of Hell ran their course, and everyone else paid for it- except I'll bet somehow the Carlyle Group ended up with a Hellacious profit.
