There's no doubt the old Sith Lord himself is one heeluva a villian.
There is also no doubt the entire left wing blogsphere knew all about this virtually from its inception.
We tried warning people. The main$tream totally ignored and dismissed the reports of this, not only from the blogosphere but the admissions of Bu$hCo-Cheneyburton about what the NSA was doing. It's not like they hid it from anyone. And the main$tream reaction? We were accused of being moonbats. We were accused of being unpatriotic. We were accused of being unAmerican.
Well, maybe we are unAmerikan. With the Imperial "k".
A lot of us would like to see Cheney prosecuted for his war crimes. Which, in fact, these aren't. Despite its protestations to the contrary Congress knew all about this.
Compared to everything else Dick Cheney is done, this is minor. This will publically humiliate him for awhile. He will be cleared of all wrongdoing- he's the Vice in a time of war, right? And he will emerge virtually impossible to indict for anything else.
