Scout Prime addresses the issue that Darth Cheney and Rudy Ghouliani keep trying to scare the children with: once there is no Dear Leader to read your email, watch your every move, and search you at the airport, the terra'ists will attack. Probably with nukes.

Never fear. The Bu$hCo-Cheneyburton appointees are all incompetents with no real idea of what they're doing or how to do it. Any real source of national security comes from people who actually feel a responsibility to do their job regardless of the party in the White House. True enough, the White House has done its best to keep such people out of the Department of Homeland Security, but let's face it, before Bu$hCo stole the $election in 2000, we were doing a pretty good job at airport security.

The real source of terror once Bu$hCo-Cheneyburton is tossed out of office will be from the private contractors working at the behest of men like Elliot Abrams.

Anyone remember what they did to the Carter administration with Iran? Or even before Carter got elected? Or what they did with Reagan afterwards?
